About Kyle

The City of Kyle is conveniently located in the heart of Central Texas, between Austin and San Antonio on one of the State's major transportation arteries, I-H 35. Kyle is situated just 15 miles south of Austin.

In the late 1800's, Kyle was a major player in the cotton business. This area was also the "Gateway to Texas Ranch Country." By the late 1990's, Kyle saw a large increase in population and commercial development. Today, Kyle is the fifth fastest growing community in the State of Texas.
